Meet our Experienced Upland Upper Cervical Chiropractors

Dr. Kyle Murray, D.C.

Dr. Kyle Murray, D.C., is the Chief of Clinical Care and Director of Atlas Brain and Spine, practicing in Upland, California.

Dr. Kyle Murray, D.C. graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California. Prior to this Dr. Murray completed his Bachelors of Science from the University of Colorado. He is a member of the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association ( ).

In his youth, Dr. Murray had six concussions and severe migraines that were constant for three years. After three years of suffering he decided to go through the traditional medical route to get a handle on the migraines. MRI and CAT Scan showed normal brain activity and the neurologist found nothing wrong despite these crippling migraines. Ultimately the “solution” was to mask the pain with pain killers for the rest of his life, and at 16 years old there was no way he was going to do that. Finally a family friend recommended that he should try Chiropractic out and after his first correction his migraine was gone. Since that visit he realized just how powerful the body is and the healing capabilities that God has within us. Once graduating he has dedicated his life to the pursuit of giving the best possible care to all while allowing them to experience the best doctor’s office they have ever been to.

Dr. Zeina Abouakl, D.C

Dr. Zeina Abouakl, D.C. joined Atlas Brain and Spine’s team in April of 2021 and feels blessed to be a part of such an incredible office and community. She graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in Hayward, California with magna cum laude and clinical honors.

For undergraduate schooling, Dr. Abouakl attended the University of California, Irvine and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in public health science. Dr. Abouakl likes to say that chiropractic found her because while she was attending school at UC Irvine, she had plans to apply to physician assistant school after graduating. In order to apply to many schools’ physician assistant programs, the applicant must have around 1,000-2,000 hours of patient care.

Dr. Abouakl started working at a chiropractic office to fulfill the many hours of patient care she needed and was amazed to learn the benefits of chiropractic care. Prior to working at the office, she had no exposure to chiropractic besides the classic belief that chiropractors simply “crack backs.” Dr. Abouakl was pleasantly surprised to see many patients leaving the office pain-free, as opposed to when they first walked in with various aches and pains. She then changed her career path and is excited to continue serving the community with the healing process that God has designed the body to do.
